Notes:-Only activity this week and since the 7th September.Crazy at work and with Tom going to university. Also down at Busfest last Sunday with Harry. Excellent drive down and show, will camp next year. Got sun visors, a Zig battery control panel circa 1986 from the autojumbe plus a new plastic insert for the headlight switch and soem OEM dulux window winders to replace the crappy ones on the van. Saw Graham Clarke which was just fantastic, had a catch up. He has a big beard now and a swansea accent. He had a small stand and a US project bus for sale. He noramlly does Busfest so we agreed to keep in touch as we could meet up properly for a drink next year. Also a momentous week nationally as the Queen passed away on the 8th septenber. I was in Aldi with Harry and Tom when we found out. We were buying chocolate using an Aldi voucher Harry got to support his Kandistag fundraiser scheduled in for next weekend. That was cancelled due to the queens passing. Sarah wanted to go down to London to file past the queen lying in state but with Tom going to University we did not get the chance. On thrursday the 15th the queue was 8 hours, by saturday it was 24 hours and the new gov was advising not to attempt to join. However for me the biggest and most emotional event was Tom starting University. This has hit me like a tonne of bricks.... The night before we took him I cried myself to sleep, just could not believe he was going, so proud of him, but its like grief. Dropped him at university yesterday 16th and settled him in. I had a work call to do so Sarah carried on unpacking. He was on his own as his other flatmates were arriving on sat, so we left him on his own. Once we got back to the car I just broke down again, felt so sad and do so now at I type this....
