Notes:-Lunch canal walk. First activity in a month, long hours working, rubbish weather and lots of other stuff just pulled me to a stop. Poor mum had a stroke on the 29th November. I was Ill with some stupid flu like virus so couldnt go up until last week. When I did get up to mums last week I managed to sort a few things out. She had a stroke walking the dog in Milton wood, in the dark and in cold weather which is pretty much what I predicted…. But at least she was with Fran. It’s taken two weeks for the referral to go to the stroke team and finally she is being assessed on Thursday. Why it couldnt have been last week when I was there I dont know. Anyway, now she cant drive which is pretty devastating but seems to accept it. Stroke probably not helped by her not taking her meds properly, Dr changed her AF meds to a new one…. Only problem no one knew so she was probably taking both. My shoulder problems getting worse, stopped physio when I had the flu and havent restarted it yet, doesnt seem to work anyway. Good news is Toms back from Uni and Harry has worked very hard through his mock exams. Sarah is ok health wise and its only a few days before we finish for Xmas. Got some big meetings this week, in real easy fuck up territory again. Only 3 months left after Xmas and no firm sign of a longer term job… looking into my crystal ball and I can see 2023 is going to be full of stress and crap. Glass half empty but hoping things will get better.
