Notes:-Working hard this week to finish a big AHSN report. Downed tools to get this last walk in of 2022. Also had invite for another consultation meeting, this time with John and HR next week. It’s not been the best Christmas break, worrying about Mum and trying to get some help. Boys havent wanted to do anything and Sarah always finds this time of year hard. We will go away next year, dont see the point of being at home. Also job situation, tempted to call time in it next week. Think theres a 50 50 chance at best the new role will be appointed by April. Network business plan wont be signed off until February so I cant currently see a timeline for recruitment. WMAHSN May agree to extend again but they will be under pressure to reduce headcount so it may be I end up on unpaid leave. Also wondering if they will put me on paid leave in the last 6 weeks like last time if there is no clear path. I need confirmation of this next week as I will need to plan handover. Last time they just landed me with it with no warning. I wonder if I should ask for MARs and need to know what is happening with the wider ahsn structure, will there be an at risk pool… I just need to know whats happening… Off to see Roch and Eds in Stone tonight then up to Mums tomorrow for New Year’s Day. I am staying all week so I can be with mum for an assessment on Friday. Its going to be horrible I think. So 657 miles for 2022 was pretty poor, not sure what went wrong. Had a fantastic summer with lots of weekends away. I think I was working longer during the latter part of the year, so no lunchtime rides. Im not going to set any high expectations for 2023 as its going to be awful but will try harder to look after myself as im going to need it…..
