Notes:-Harrys 16th birthday today. Did this lunchtime walk in the cold and wet to get away from the PC. Busy week but quite productive. Harry opened his presents this morning before going off to school. Hes got his pals coming round tomorrow night so hes happy with that. Weather has been awful this week so no bike rides, hope to start next week. Doing the clean for 14 fasting diet with Sarah and feeling a bit less bloated so maybe if I can focus on losing weight and then bringing the cycling back in gradually that will actually be better for me. Had HR call yesterday, there was some internal debate on who should lead the meeting as John isnt a UHB member of staff thats why the cancelled last week. Tim Jones is dealing with it now which fills me with dread. So Im not yet formally at risk once I have the official meeting I will then have 12 weeks from that date. In some ways thats good news as it may buy some more time. The problem I have is I dont have a post to go back to at UHB and the funding for my secondment ends in March. The network team budget wil be cut by 50 percent and any decisions on the shape of the team and then recruitments wont happen in time. So the decision Tim has to make is if he wants to extend again from march, possibly to june and fund my post a risk until its recruited to or just let me go. He wont want to pay redundancy, there no chance of going back to the AHSN, think Id rather resign if that was an option. One other option might be UHB redeploy staff on a FTC into the system to ride out the isses this year. WMAHSN has to make budget cuts so as a seconded memebr of the team with no UHB role to go back to then Im in the shit there aswell. Will be interesting to see how Tim handles my situation and if he holds off the consultation meeting. I suspect I will be the last to know as usual, he is a miserable fucking arsehole. Some good news on Mum, social services called Sarah today and said they will assess her in the next 1 to 3 weeks so maybe there is some hope Mums situation is going to get a bit better.
