Notes:-Canal walk with Tom, Harry and Simba. Cold but dry and sunny afternoon. Took Tom back to university at teatime. Still worried that he isnt getting out and forming friendships. Still obsessed with gaming so was up most of the night playing Minecraft. Had a few drinks with Sarah last night. Got quite annoyed with WhatsApp messages to our Worried about mother group. Fran going on about mums capacity and not being safe living alone, Fran struggling to cope etc… I put in my view that mum needs the help with basics, the care package will make a difference. Fran seems to be pushing on the capacity assessment as if that will help mum… she does not understand that social care wont just put mum in a home without exhausting home based care first. Basically none of the family seems to be able or willing to help mum with shopping, eating etc. I know shes been difficult about taking meds but Ive been able to help her no problem. Had a very long talk to Sas about it which helped. The whole situation is shit but my main concern is mum and making sure she stays at home where she wants to be for as long as possible. Im really struggling with this and the work situation, Sas said I should maybe take some time off. Spoke to Sis this morning and just said we have to stay focused on what mum wants and needs not whats best for other members of the family. Well here goes another shit week…
