Notes:-Lovely sunny afternoon, needed to get out. Fran called this afternoon to say mum had just had a phone call about an appointment tomorrow to do another driving assessment. I called the driving assessment centre and they confirmed an appointment for tomorrow. They said they would register mum as not attending and contact the dvla after I explained the situation. They wont contact mum again but said the DVLA will write to mum and revoke her licence. Told mum that it was a mistake- so not to worry about the appointment as it’s been cancelled - said she wont be able to drive again due to the stroke. Felt crap lying to her but the alternative is another test which she would fail which would be much more stressful. Poor mum, just so crap at the minute.
