Notes:-Slightly longer canal walk to 2 miles, so just before the really muddy bit. Cold and grey afternoon, pretty shit day TBH. Fran hit us with a cascade of messages late afternoon saying she couldnt take any more from mum and that she didnt want to go around multiple times a day. Mum was being abusive and Ross wasnt being cared for properly, and she needed to take him. Not sure why she is going around multiple times a day if its that bad...She also said she was going back to work next week and didnt want to leave Blue on his own. I didnt spot that part of the message but my Sarah did. She thinks this all about Fran taking Ross from Mum so she doesnt have to leave Blue in the house on his own when she is at work. I said she was not to take Ross and that we would look at a dog walker if she doesnt want to do it anymore. She needs to do what she needs to do etc.... Fran then left the chat. Sis called me and we caught up on the situation. I then texted Fran to say we would come up with a dog walking solution for Ross and she needs to go her own way ect..ect.. but he has to stay with Mum at least for the time being. It would be devastating for Mum if she took Ross. No response from Fran so far... Right now, as I drink some gin and try and catch up on the work I missed this afternoon i.e my CV I hope she fucks off as she just makes the situation worse. Its so hard to get a sense of the true reality here. Mum is deteriorating and is probably abusive, she is really suffering, but no one is asking or expecting Fran to do anything. She made it clear years ago she wasnt going to care for Mum..not that anyone was expecting her to, including Mum.
