Notes:-Sunday ride with Harry. He rode with me to Orton on the hill as part of his DofE training. Harry rode back to Warton and I carried on the usual route. Got a bit upset this morning, trying to get mums care package right, she missed her meds again this morning as the carer arrived a bit late and Mark and Mum were heading off to Newcastle for the day. Not upset about Mark taking mum out but just that the care package isnt quite right yet and I cant do anything about it…. So important this works for mum otherwise shes only going to get worse. Also down as this week might end in a clearer picture of where im going after March 31st. AHSN network roles will be secondments as they cant offer permanent or long term positions. UHB would have to extend my contract again and allow a secondment which I dont think they will do plus I dont want to stay in such a turbulent environment. AHSNs might not survive the year, WMAHSN is in such a mess I cant see it surviving. On my 1 to 1 with Charlie she reckoned there was a good chance there will be major changes, best case a reduction in AHSNs. Got an OH meeting and a HR meeting on Thursday so let’s see what happens. There is currently only 1 network post for the OLS director which has been approved that I could go for. But no point if there is no chance of a secondment. Im actually writing the business case for the 8C pipeline lead which is probably where id end up if I could take a secondment and if it was advertised and recruited to in time. All highly unlikely….
