Notes:-Late lunch walk via post box to drop Mums mothers day card off. Mums meds seem to be going ok but I dont want to jinx it... Had OH and HR calls today. Spoke to OH doctor and she will write to HR stating that the stress and uncertainty of the past 3 years is having a detrimental effect. HR call followed with Tim and the discussion centred on the new OLS role. UHB will extend my notice period and would allow a secondment if I was successfully recruited. I asked if I dont apply does this constitute refusal of a suitable alternative role. Tim conformed I do have a choice, if they found me a role in the trust and there was a match to my skills and the role was not put out to interview and I refused then that would constitute refusal of suitable alternative employment. As the network role is going out to advert its not considered a suitable alternative. So I, not required to apply. Network post not due to start until May so UHB would need to cover the gap. Tim has spoken to Nick Barlow about digital roles and Julian Miller in commercial, also chasing Hillary for possible roles, any of these discussions could lead to suitable alternative employment, fingers crossed they dont.... Another meeting on the 30th and we will see where we are then.
