Notes:-Sunny blue skies but still a bit of a cool wind. Bit quicker than last week which is encouraging. Harry now half way through his GCSE exams. Tough couple of weeks so far for him but he is working hard. No other rides after monday last week. Did a quick trip up to Brampton last wedensday to meet council officer about merging 43 and 41 to stop Mark paying two lost of council tax. the lady we met was very helpful and can see the propety is clearly one house. Will take another 6 to 8 weeks to get 41 rebanded. Another tough week for mum who was still feeling nausious but managed to get the Gp to prescribe something so will see if that works. Sis was over at the weekend and took mum to get a new bed and fridge which are both urgently needed. On the job front I got an email from Eastern AHSN to say I was not shortlisted for the ICS Innovation Lead which was a bit of a shock... plus nothing from any of the other jobs I have applied for yet. Spent yesterday down in Northampton cutting Adys grass and doing some weeding. Took the van which ran like a treat. I repaired the door cards and kick panels plus put the correct pins in the door for the check strap. Thats eliminated the hideous snapping sound from the passenger door. Drivers side still a bit snappy but better, problem is wear on the door srtap pivot so needs some fettling. The door cards and kick panels really need to go in the bin but they will do until we go for the full refurb. I learned enough about the door cards to realise I could actually make and trim these myself. Looks much better inside the cab now.
