Notes:-Walk from the substation into middle gelt with Mum. Lovely walk and chat. Drove up on Sunday night after we came back from camping. Took mum to a hospital appointment on Monday morning. Saw colorectal consultant, he said mum should go for a CT scan and colonoscopy to rule out anything nasty. Finished painting mums room, fixed some electrical bits and got the room ready for the new carpet. Carpet fitter came on Tuesday and did a great job. Mums room is much fresher and will be easier for her to manage. Sis did most of the painting and cleaning a couple of weeks back. Also took mum to GP on Tuesday morning, worried about the dizziness. After lots of tests, BP which was on the low side but ok and ECG which was also ok the GP was a bit stumped. I mentioned the Biceporolol drug which was no longer in mums prescription and it turns out this is probably the cause. The drug controls heart rate so will cause dizziness when sitting and standing and can cause tingles in the hands. Went to pharmacy and they said the GP had discontented it but GP said it was still active on their system and they have not removed it. Very negligent…. Risks to mum are high, especially falling. So hopefully mum will now start to feel better now its back on the repeat prescription. Generally speaking mum was not much different from last time I was up. Periods of confusion and some happy moments. Slips in and out if asking about Ross. Seems ok in the morning and happy he is at Frans but gets angrier around 4 when its dog walking time. She got very angry on Monday night about taking her meds. Its just heartbreaking.
