Notes:-Hike over to Spa Cave with attempt to find the souterrain overlooking Drinan. Spa cave was amazing and we timed the tide just right. The search for the souterrain was less successful. Need to consult old photos and super 8 movie footage to see if we can get more clues to its position. Also saw lots of helicopter activity, air ambulance which landed in a field next to us and the coastguard. Later found out it was for a woman who had fallen off the cliff path, goes to show how dangerous the terrain can be. 1001ft elevation on this walk. Generally feeling less stressed but had a call from Fran with some issues regarding an appointment letter for mum. Spent some time calling the Cumberland infirmary to try and sort it out.
