Notes:-Walk around Talkin Tarn with Mum, Sis, Casper and Harley. Lovely day with Sarah and Mum. Drove up last night and got to Brampton around 10.30pm. Parked in front of Church House and was heading towards Marks but Mum popped out of the lane so stayed at Mums last night. Mark had mentioned to Mum that I was heading up so I think she may have been popping out the house to check periodically. Dont think she had been outside long. Worrying that she is out of the house but the new Ring doorbell and camera should give us an idea of any activity outside of normal hours. Sis came over in the afternoon and we set up the ring doorbell attached to the front door and camera covering the back gate. Hopefully these will help us to keep an eye on Mum and watch for any unsafe wandering or unwanted visitors. They seem to work ok but just need to keep an eye on the battery charge. Also taped up the cables into the router in an attempt to stop mum unplugging them. The Ring system will be no use if the internet is off line... Mum seemed to be ok and the house was tidy with only a few bowls of cat food. She is still putting on dirty clothes and not washing. Carer did say that she is sometimes washing but it is very variable. I also got a GP appointment and Mum now has a new tablet to try for the dizzyness. GP also removed felodipine from her meds, this is the BP med which he thinks is lowering her BP too much which may be contributing to dizzyness when standing up. She was really struggling with the dizzy spells. Also quite agressive with the carer when she asked if mum wanted a tablet, Mum kept saying I dont want anything off you, I can manage my own meds... Slammed the egg cup with the tablet on the side, then after a min or so calmed down and took the tablet, then ate her lunch. Quite distressing.. other than that she was ok with me Mark and Sarah. Had some interesting comments from Mum and Mark about the money borrowing. Mum said that Fran was always looking for her purse and any cash in the house. She actullay said that her purse was always empty of cash prompting her to go to the cash machine. It was a really clear conversation. Mark said he had had an argument with Mum about lending Fran money, saying he was worried Mum couldnt afford it and that he was worried that she would start asking him. Also sorted covid and flu jabs and took Mum shopping to Teco before driving home on Thursday evening. Before I drove up on Tuesday I spent the last hot sunny day fixing the rust on the bottom of the van sliding foor. Used a GRP based filler to repair the holes with a mesh which suppotrs the filler. The door lip had corroded at the back by the seal causing water to rust the bottom of the panel from behind. There was lots of filler at the bottom of the door so it will eventually need welding. However this is better than leaving it to rust further. Used a general filler to level out and then an rust supressing primer to potect until I can get some paint sorted. Bought some Hammerite Krust form ABW which is supposed to convert rust back to metal which I will use on the windscreen and window areas to try and stabalise. Also finished Adys sheds on monday, took all day to get the second shed up and re roofed, needed lots of fixing. Also had confirmation that my references were all in for the new job and an email organising the delivery of my IT equipment.
