Notes:-Boxing Day walk on my tod. Sarah happily watching Christmas tv and boys still in bed. Lovely Christmas Day yesterday, opened presents in the morning then went to Turpins for Xmas dinner. No cooking for me this year, however…. They served Sarah a dish of mushrooms - not the mushroom tart she ordered… we got some nice turkey and veg but little else. Starters were ok but my Christmas pudding looked tiny and tasted like a supermarket bought one. So we were not impressed, but we did laugh as it was bad but funny bad. Meal was topped off by an old chap having some kind of heart problem or stroke, turned out to be the owner so staff were obviously upset. Sarah didnt ask for a family pic with the chap in the background lying in the recovery position. He was ok thankfully. So Turpins is off the list for next year. Had a fantastic day despite feeling guilty about mum being on her own.
