Notes:-Lovely blustery walk with Mum. Did the track from the substation but then turned left and did the loop back via the fields. Bit cold but good chat with Mum. I came up yesterday to look at residential care homes with Mark, Sarah and Fran. Sarah and Fran had been ringing around some homes. Was a bit concerend about Fran to start with given recent history but it seems we are now on the same page. There was no taking about putting mum in immediatley and we all agreed we were looking at options. Fran and Sarah also seemed to agree that we should look at increasing home care as a first resort - so a night call to make sure Mum is settled down and possibly DOLs if she needs to be locked in the house to prevent wandering. Saw Green Lane and a place at Haughton. Green lane was lovely and they have expanded significantly since Gran was there. They also have a resident Cat and Dog which Mum would love. We asked if Mum could be put on the waiting list. the one at Haughton was grim, mostly end of life so not suitable. Spent Sunday morning sorting out Frans phones, this was a worse nightmare than I thought it was going to be but after 3 hours on the phone we cancelled both contracts. Thats the last of Frans finances connected to Mum so needed to be done. On Monday I went with Mark to his universal credit interview in Carlisle - that took all morning to sort paperwork and all afternoon to do the interviews. Mum not great generally, very angry and on edge. Also wandering again on sat night, I didnt hear her go out of the house but the ring cameras caught her leaving the front door and going over to Marks about 3am. Got home at 10pm last night. One major monumental good thing was Sarah paid off the Morguage on Saturday. The house belongs to us now and we owe nothing - also 1000k per month better off. Havent had time to celebrate...
