Notes:-Walking activities this week combined. 2.6 miles walked from Holt street to see Happy mondays at the O2 arena with Sarah. Had an amazing night. Think the stereo MCs sounded the best. Also brief walk of 1.5 miles when we stayed at Dodewlls Campsite near Stratford 02/04/2024. Had a lovely night away testing out the new van which is really comfortable. Very wet, weather has been awful for what seems like months. Sas did all the driving and is really getting confident. Tom took a trip himself to hike back up Snowden and really enjoyed himself. Haz was working so didnt go, hes also got his DofE Gold practice later this week so needed to reserve his strength. Also to note work wise I successfully got the NHP Innovation Award over the line at investment committee last week. So feeling positive about that.
So busy few weeks in March and terrible weather so very few activities. Did Dubs at Middleton hall last weekend sas drove the T6 and I took the T2. Was up at mums on the 21st March for that weekend. Drove up with Tom who was home for Easter. Stayed over at Marks. Also worth noting I say Craig Tracey MP at his surgery in Coleshill and discussed the flooding issues. He has promised to escalate this with STW. Saw sis on the Saturday and we took mum shopping. Sis bought mum a toy cat which she thinks is real along with the toy dog. Just heartbreaking but seems to be helping. Mark is on Skye this week so Im keeping a virtual eye on Mum. Yesterday mums elderly neighbour was in the house, carer called to say she didnt want to leave mum on her own but luckily Steph arrived.
