Notes:-Slow walk with Simba up the most and ridge. Mum transferred to Pennine Lodge yesterday. Sarah and I came up on Monday night after work. Sis went home on Sunday after flagging there would be too many of us at Mums trying to work. Also turned out that there was a fall out with Fran. So I think sis had just had enough. Mark said when they were sorting out Mums room making it ready for her transfer that Fran was texting Sarah asking when Mark would be able to pick up some trees for Frans garden. She was insisting Mark had to do it so showing a total lack of awareness as to the importance of what they were doing for mum. Think there was a heated phone call in the car which was not hung up so Fran overheard a follow on conversation between sis and mark. Mark went to Frans later that afternoon and she told him to fuck off. Sas and I saw mum at the hospital yesterday and picked up her things. Then went to the home to unpack some bits. Sis and Mark did a fantastic job in the room. When mum came in she was pretty chilled. We stayed until they started calling for dinner. Mum was a bit disoriented but some of the residents sat down with her and started chatting. We left quietly, it was heartbreaking but mum was ok. The home is really nice with a small number of residents, spacious rooms and lots of communal areas.
