Notes:-Polesworth and back on canal. First activity since getting back from the lakes the weekend before last. Dont think I mentioned heading home from the lakes. Had a cooked breakfast on the gas hob and packed up. Found some dirty bastard had let their dog piss over the awning at some point. That combined with rain in the night made packing up everything wet a bit of a challenge. Had to clean and dry the away and footprint at home later in the week. Headed to St Bees as it was on the way home. Tom wasnt too interested in St Bees Abbey so took a look with Mark. We reminisced on winning the bell ringing competition in the late 80s. After a short visit we headed up the Brampton and dropped Mark off. Then headed home. Van is comfortable and drove easily over the weekend. Annoying reduce oil warning turned out to be overfilled oil by 1.5L. Had a full service done so all ok. Had a grotty time last week with awful head cold which I must have picked up of Mark. Had to take Thursday off sick and missed Miriam Margolyes on Thursday night, sas took a work colleague. Started on Monday with fatigue then hit full on Tuesday to Friday but eased over the weekend. Just took it easy. Boys and Sas did the garden while I did a clean of the house and shopping.
