Notes:-Y not
Another great weekend away with Sas, this time to the Y Not festival at Pike Hall in Derbyshire. Got there on Thursday morning and set up. Got a good spot in the camper van field. Thursday night we saw Scouting for Girls and Kaiser Chiefs. Friday was a bit of a slow day looking around the festival and chilling out at by the van. Sas was a bit poorly so I went to watch Snow Patrol the evening headliner. TBH I did find it hard to relax, felt quite stressed this week and getting indigestion again which I need to keep an eye on. Feeling flat is probably the best way to describe it. Was stressing a bit more due to having no mobile signal so not contactable easily if anything happens to Mum. Feel guilty I am out having fun when I havent seen her for weeks. Sis has been visiting and taking Mum out, kind of like what I was doing. She seems to be taking calls from the home and dealing with that side now. I just have to remember I was dealing with all the dom care issues and daily challenges up until Mum went into hospital. Just finding it hard to face up to now. On Saturday the Kytes were really good and the Amy Winehouse band were stunning. Sunday finished with the Vaccines and Noel Galliagher High Flying Birds. Noel was great but it was the Oasis songs that made it for me. It was their last night of a 2 year tour so we wont see them again for a couple of years. If I can just find a way of switching off the stress and anxiety I could really get to enjoy this sort of thing more. Strata activity was a walk through the festival.
