Notes:-Canal walk. Busy day with a training course on benefits management and back to back meetings either side. Had a visit to Porton Down yesterday which was fascinating. Met some of the key people behind the vaccine and diagnostic programs and Bassam Hallis who is one of the leading scientists. Looked at their simulation and testing areas including a hospital ward set up. Real interest in setting up collaboration to support some of the innovation lab work and scientific research.
