Notes:-One of those days… seems typical to this time of year looking back over past entries here. Couldn’t quite get my work mojo today. Bit disappointing that there is no news from exec on the innovation grant I’ve been working so hard on. After all the issues a few weeks back and pressure to get the awards out it’s actually exec who are now holding this up. Possibly for good reasons given the political climate. After a couple of good weeks in terms of getting stuff done this one doesn’t bode well. Might just be me being a bit tired. Also had a call from Retro Restoration about the van. After a thorough check on the ramps and lots of photos Neil recons it’s around £30k to restore. Floors and gutters are all good but lots of patch repairs to structures under the front floor need replacing and chassis rails. So lots to do underneath and they recon it’s better to go for full resto rather than tackle in stages. Really helpful a thorough, even offered to source a solid van which would be a lot cheaper to restore. So I think Bella will need to go… Sas has also been ill with a cold possibly a reaction to the covid and flu jabs so she’s been laid up for a few days. Also worried about her trip to Malta on Thursday, just not sure how she will cope and what if something happens. Anyway nice walk along the canal to clear the head.
