Notes:-Xmas day walk with the boys. Lovely day with the family and no stress which is what we all needed. My dinner turned out ok and doing the prep yesterday helped. Still lots of shopping, prep and wrapping this week. Had a trip up to Carlisle on Wednesday as mum was admitted to hospital with a high temp. Initially PL though mum might have sepsis which would have been serious. Met Sis at the hospital not long before mum was discharged with some powerful antibiotics. Stopped by PL once the way to pick up some clothes. Mum was looking pretty frail but was better at the home than being in hospital. I rode back with mum in the patient transport and met Sas at the home. Sis went home which was a bit weird, said that there would be too many people. Settled mum back in and we then decided to head back home rather than staying at Marks. Couldnt get hold of him until quite late, also knowing mum was ok we thought it better to go home. Got back around 1pm. Woke up Thursday morning to the garden flooded so had to sort that out. Had a meeting with the new MP Rachel Taylor on Friday which had been in the diary for a few months. Was able to show her photos and a video of the flooding as an active issue. She was really helpful, I have written a summary in the flood report. Also some developments with Scuds, had lots of activity on Monday on the ring doorbell with the new couple moving stuff in all night. They left at 2am on Tuesday morning. Sis said they had asked to move some items in. They had also been there over the weekend. Mark called me to ask if I knew anything. Still very limited info coming from Sis which I dont find very helpful.
