Notes:-What did the romans ever do for us… Mark was very keen this morning to do a walk in the wall before seeing Mum. Lovely cold Cumbrian morning. Walked from Birdoswald to Gilsland and back. Will bring my bike in the summer and we can ride to Birdoswald and do this walk and make a day of it. Sis texted to say she also wanted to see mum. Got nack to Marks and we headed into Carlisle, as ever apprehensive on seeing Mum. Got there and Mum was much better. Spent several hours with her chatting, mum got up a few times and wandered but got always sat down. Had a few cuddles with her and a she was quite chatty. This was the best I think Ive seen her which was lovely. Also good time to chat to Sis, feels like we are on a better footing now. She apologised about not telling me about the trust account issues and said I was absolutely right to ask the questions. We even spoke about doing a trip to glen trool in the summer. Mum nodded off and we thought it was a good time to go but she was up like a shot 😂 was a bit hard leaving but we were able to go with minimal fuss.
