Notes:-Dog walk then Polesworth and back on canal. Last day off for half term. Possibly the last school half term week we will need to do. Windy Sunday morning with Simba a bit reluctant for the dog walk. Had been watching Laura Kuennsberg this morning interviewing Stephen Fry about Trump and Putin. What he said about the world moving towards being run by fascist dictators with morals of the mafia struck me as so true. In the past week Trump has sided with Putin and sidelined Zelenskyy and Europe from peace talks. Trump has emboldened the cunt Putin whilst undermining Europe. His rhetoric is around pulling the US out of an expensive war which he claims is one Europe, not NATO as a unified force should be stopping. Staggering US politics underpinned by lies and the drivel falling out of Trumps mouth. He said last week that there was a big beautiful ocean between the US and Europe. In some ways the US fucking off might unify Europe but the UK sits somewhere in the middle after the stupidity of brexit. Some say we are almost at the same point as Europe was in 1938, let’s hope we can stave off Putin and not end up in another world war….
Anyway… nice walk and good time to think. Also serviced and thoroughly cleaned and oiled my bike yesterday ready to go out when the weather is better.
