Notes:-First ride outdoors since the 41 club ride back in August. I really enjoyed the route Andy C led us on so made a route from home. Perfect day, it has been quite warm and sunny all week with a real spring feel. Slightly strange experience heading down Smithy Lane. Spotted what I thought was a man leaning over a gate, looked like an old farmer. At the same time a van headed towards me, when it passed the gate I looked across and the figure was gone. Must be my poor eyesight lol. Hopefully past another cold and depressing winter. It has been another though one with Mum and work challenges. Still the good weather has helped sorting a few things out. Spent Friday stripping Harrys room of the built in bed and cupboards in readiness for Phil decorating. Same approach as Toms room with a new bed and carpet. Used Bella to do the tip runs as she can go in without challenge, also easy to load her up with the full length sections. It had been 5 years today from the first covid lockdown, seems hard to believe. This ride was only hampered by a back disc brake fail - suspect corroded bleed nut...Brake oil was seeping out of the top of the calliper so might need tightening.
