Notes:-Lovely sunny day. Lots going on in the past couple of weeks. Off part of last week sorting the house, boiler broke and needed replacement plus pulling apart and remaking the cupboard plus cutting the plaster board to access gas pipe in the utility. All gas pipes needed replacement as they were the wrong diameter. Also no filter or expansion tank on the old boiler meaning it was working harder than it should and getting scaled up. Bloody useless plumbers who fitted it during the build. That on top of trying to get Harrys room sorted. Carpets went down yesterday so just moving his furniture in. Another tonne of rubbish loaded into Bella. House was cold and chaotic last week, taking forever to sort out… I just want to be working on my van, hitting the bike or doing fun stuff with the family in the evenings and weekends. Tricky few days as mum had another fall. Spoke to her yesterday when I called the home for an update. She was quite chatty and it was lovely to have a short conversation with her. I really miss chatting to mum… on the plus side she was checked out in the hospital and was ok. On other fun stuff we took Ady to see Chris McCausland at the Derngate in Northampton last night. Very funny comedian. Also last week the CFO for NHSE finally signed off the innovation award payments so quite a relief. Strange and very quiet week at work as I continue to figure out where I fit. No mots shock announcements regarding job cuts.
