Notes:-Kinder Scout with Eds. Got up quite early around 6.30 as Eds needed to get back in the afternoon. Did a delicious cooked breakfast to soften the hangover. I had a longer route set on my starva app but we couldnt make out if it was actually going to summit Kinder Scout. Looked like it was looping around the base of the hills. Anyway we broke off the strava route and took a path straight up the hill. This put us in the tops where Eds recognised the area. He had done it a year or so back but in the opposite direction which involved climbing up a gill. Some great views from the top. Had a great walk and chat on all things mid life. I think the planned walk would have been too long and the rain set in as we descended the bath back to Edale. Proper soaking rain. Eds headed back after we dried off in the campsite cafe. I then spent the rest of the day and evening chilling and reading my book. In the evening I watched some stuff of Netflix. The campsite has very good WiFi but no phone signal.
