Notes:-Evening ride extending my Brook End loop to take in Nether Whitaker. Quiet week at work looking forward to the weekend when we get off to Wales for a week. Feeling a bit sluggish this week recovering from Ynot with the booze and some less than healthy food. Was still amazing though. We had a visit from STW chief exec Liv Garfield and Rachel Taylor MP. STW has repaired the consented overflow which had been capped off by the landowner- they have also placed a non return valve on our section of sewer and added more storage tanks to the treatment works. This should according to STW protect us from further flooding. Im not 100pc convinced but it may reduce the severity frequency of flooding.
