Notes:-New bike shake down, this thing makes me look quite fast! Flooding on spon lane so detour up dordon hall. Had a fantastic weekend with the family. Spent yesterday doing an escape room in coventry with Sas and the boys. Opened my presents early yesterday morning as Tom can only make this weekend. Did the escape room which was a nuclear bomb asteroid set up which we managed to complete. I was a bit useless with the maths questions but sas and the boys sorted those out. Then had a meal at the golden cross in Coventry. Sas has a nasty cold today which may be the same one as Toms... Also Sas is very stressed about her job as the ICB still needs to lose around 50pc of posts. I think its unlikely both me and sas will go unscathed by this. This ride was awesome, weather was cold but dry and the roads a bit mucky. Didnt take long to get the hang of the gears and general feel of the bike which is much lighter and quicker. I got 15mph average without pushing it and on the straight roads it really takes no effort to sustain speed. Its really responsive although I think I will need to check the seat position. Dont want to wreck this on the roads this winter so will keep to riding it on dry days. Also to note the flooding was bad on spon lane with the ground saturated by the storm this week. Happy to say no sign of flooding in the garden.
