Good news Sarah eye test went ok yesterday in Burton, just needs to keep taking the drops. Crap news about her job and not being in the structure is still sinking in. Band 8Bs are mostly gone and policy is she cant apply to slot into the 8C role above unless no one else at 8C slots in at the end of the process. So shes technically heading for compulsory redundancy but actively looking at other jobs rather than take that option. She could take the redundancy and find another job in the NHS in the summer but the competition will be so high due to all the other NHS staff looking to do the same. Sas is worried that if she doesnt stay in the NHS up to 60 then her pension wont be enough. Was aiming for 20 miles on this virtual ride which is part of a 50 mile loop Im planning to do in the summer. Bloody laptop and IT issues put pay to that. Managed to get the trainer working on the iphone app with a firmware update. Think I will just use the app in future. I can continue this ride from the app so will do it in stages.
