Notes:-Soggy Sunday plus shopping and cookathon meant no walking today. Download this new Garmin video ride which is brilliant. Got to take my bike to Skye and do this road at some point. Hope I can go with Mark and the boys as I suspect chances of doing it will become even slimmer in the years to come. Spent yesterday clearing weeding the front garden and planting spring bulbs. Fixed the broken tile on the extension roof before putting the ladders away. Also sorting the final bits from Xmas and rubbish stored in the shed and down the side. Lots of recycling from the bin men who seem to take 6 weeks off for Xmas - always pisses me off….Still had the pallet the bath came on. Decided to bite the bullet and do a tip run in Bella. Hate using the van for the tip but you can get so much stuff in without getting challenged. When I was unloading a chap came up to me with a T2 jacking point and spare wheel mount he was about to throw in the scrap. He saw me and thought I could use them which was really kind and fortunate. He sold his T2 a couple of years ago. So a good weekend of getting sorted. Last year we fixed a few annoying issues with the house including the boiler, leaking roof, bath and the piss soaked skirting board in the kitchen. Now with the garden not flooding we can get that looking nice for the spring and summer. Next project is a small greenhouse and moving the veg trugs to the sunny side of the garden. Just need to do a bit every weekend.
