Notes:-Culzean Castle with Sarah and Mark. Left Penninghame estate in the morning and headed towards Ayr to Culzean Castle which was a favourite when we were kids. Another stunning day and I think we all remembered bits of the castle. Headed back mid afternoon to Brampton where we met Dave. Sarah and Dave then headed back to Newcastle. I stayed at Marks then we both went to see Mum on Monday morning. She was ok but I dont think she really recognised me. She did recognise Mark and said his name. She was also quite chatty, when Mark mentioned he was decorating his hallway she did say, perfectly celarly that paint is expensive and was also reading out the text on the coffee cup we gave her lol. I then drove to get Sarah and Rochelle from the airport in the afternoon. Quite an emotional couple of days. Sad to see Sarah struggling with her eyesight and the weight of worry, its just shit. I did notice she found it hard to navigate the house and at times was a bit repetitive. We will do this again and soon I also think we should go places Mark and Sarah havent been to and dont rely on Sarah remembering.
