Notes:-Bit of a strange week. WFH today and the weather was pretty good. Coronavirus kicking off this week and starting to effect work. Had to cancel events and most face to face meetings. Real restrictions around UHB and have been asked to warn staff they may be required to volunteer to cover emergency roles. Bizarrely UHB has ramped up its roll out of video consultations and there has been a relaxation of IG restrictions on use of other digital platforms so we can minimise face to face contact. Interesting times ahead. Government stopped short of closing schools so hopefully Tom will get to do his GCSEs. Shops running out of loo rolls and pasta plus hand soap. Stupid people are overeating and what really annoyed me is that they clearing the shelves of gluten free pasta. Managed to get some today though. Also had another kidney stone last friday night / sat morning. This time in my left side. Woke in agony at 5am, 111 could only get me an out of hours appointment at 11.30 on sat morning so had to go to A and E at George Elliot. After a painful morning and a CT scan they confirmed a 3mm stone which had gone into my bladder. Luckily this one didnt cause a block and need a stent. Just waiting for it to finish the journey and have lots of pain killers ready just in case. Did boot camp on Wednesday so not going to stop excising. Fun times...
