Notes:-Lovely evening run with Harry. Warm and dry with no wind. Long day today, feeling a bit battered. We were supposed to be in France this week so did not get the break we all needed. Couldnt take the week off as Im now supporting NHSE and Supply Chain on the swab testing which is a huge and highly contentious piece of work. Still trying to get my head around it and find a useful role. Getting daily batterings off the directors who seem really out of touch and the staff, some of which are not up to the job. Currently I dont seem to have any allies or support. Seem to have all the crap impossible jobs no one else wants to do. Directors think everything could be done much better, while I try and improve an organisation which embedded in a trust whos processes and lack of interest make change impossible. Staff think im indecisive and weak, all in all pretty crap. Just got to keep going through the current crisis and see how things are later in the year.
