Notes:-Lock down day 1 million it seems... working hard on the swabs and testing programme. Challenging getting all of the validations in and keeping track. Extended my time on it this week. Has shitty email off Tony yesterday. Didnt like the fact that I had suggested I started to return to the AHSN if the workload reduced. Some miss communication which could have been handled better, another black mark. I think the nub of it is the directors are so obsessed that the AHSN is seen to be contributing that it looks bad if I step away. Dont feel there is any trust, quite upsetting. Sarah thinks they are moulding me into the post, will have to see but will give it some space with the NHSE work, at least they can put it in the metrics reporting. Probably time to think of doing something else.. Anyway the run was great, not a bad time. Cooler tonight and very wet. Was apparently the sunniest April on record.
