Notes:-Friday night virtual ride with Wayne and Matt. Matt had to drop off due to technical issues. This is a route in Belgium Matt and Wayne did a few years back. Great training ride as its got a varied terrain with a couple of steep climbs but lots of flat and downhill to push and recover on. Did 5 laps and managed to keep in front of Wayne so I must have some power developing in the lags. No bootcamps this week as I was out in the garden most days so physically a bit knackered will get back onto them next week. Last day off so back to the AHSN on Monday. Done most of what I wanted in the house and garden. Call with Tony Today where he asked if I would like to be put forward for national AHSN role leading ITP and Medtech funding mandate. Also suggested consultation will start in the next week or so. Could not tell me any more other than some people will slot into posts whilst others will need to apply. I think he is suggesting there is a role for me. Feeling more reassured and will be picking up RUP and ITP work Lucy led on before leaving until end of March. Roofer fixed the leak in the dormer yesterday and hopefully stopped the birds getting in. Heating and plumbing issues fixed with the exception of the main bathroom rad. Veg patch slab base down and all excess soil removed. Just waiting for it to dry up before laying the slabs. Need to try and get out on the bike more so next couple of weeks might be a bit quiet so will try and do that.
