Notes:-Night canal walk to meet Tom who was doing a collage activity challenge with Josh. They did 18 miles around Polesworth this afternoon. Decided to walk to meet Tom as he walked back down the canal in the dark. Nice 4 mile walk with weather not too bad. No info on WMAHSN team restructure today, just a session from Tony thanking everyone for all their work this year and a promise that the restructure plans will be released imminently. We then did a diversity activity over webex which was quite interesting and focussed on privilege. Sarah showed a video of school kits on a running track with different ethnic backgrounds. The kids advanced forward if they had certain privileges, eg private education and parents from certain professions. kids towards the front were mostly white. The kid that won was white with ginger hair and I couldnt help thinking that should be considered a disadvantage and had to try really hard not to say anything to avoid offence and upsetting a webex screen of already pretty miserable looking people. Team didnt have much time to do the breakouts so very rushed. People put comments on a virtual jamboard which were a bit random and forced. I think this linked to the AHSN wide diversity work. But left me thinking it was a bit of a time filler for the team meeting and not something people could really discuss over a webex.
