Notes:-Awesome big ride today with a couple of wrong turns plus an extra circuit of spon lane made this up to 55 miles. Blasted Garmin would not load the route so relied on Strava Routes on my phone which was a bit unreliable. Stopped for lunch at Netherseal and took protein bar and energy gels which seemed to really help keep the power up. Sun was out but its still very cold. Started to get glute and back pain at around 40 miles but nothing major. Just kept stretching. I think 60 plus in now in scope so hopefully do that next week. Also had friday call with Tony, told him I didnt go for the AHSN ARC role, didnt go into much detail but he seemed ok about it. I then read the AHSN newsletter which arrived just after the call and it said who they have appointed. The new director has experience working with west of England AHSN setting up joint AHSN and ARC programmes. So I would not of stood a chance. I would have got to interview but this was the right candidate so avoided another waste of time.t
