Notes:-Mild October evening, getting dark by 7 now. Busy day at work with the NAS and Innovation Pipeline work kicking off. Also busy weekend with trip to Leicester on Saturday with Tom to look at the University. Really nice campus and well equipped labs, staff heavily involved in research so relevant and in touch with their subjects. Lots of opportunity for Tom to get involved with some cutting edge work. He seemed really happy. Also checked out the accommodation. On Sunday the sun was out so took the van down to Northampton to cut the grass and tidy the garden, possibly for the last time. Supposed to have an exchange date this week so fingers crossed. Took Harry for a PCR test earlier, he had the jab last week but has some covid like symptoms. LFT tests are all clear but they dont pick up every case. Fingers crossed its not Covid. PS Drain also blocked so another call with Severn Trent.....
