Notes:-Very chilly first ride of 2022. Lunch ride, quite a slow day at work. Ride slowed by bitter head wind, bit of a shock after the warmest new year on record. Right knee pain and stiffness did not help.Tom back at college today minus Josh who tested positive for covid yesterday. We had cocktails at cafe Simla on Sunday night with Sonic and Sue. Hopefully they will all be ok. Also bumped into Sonic and Steve as I took the van for a test drive on Sunday morning. I managed to fix the blocked idle jet and make some adjustments to the carb to stop the engine stalling at low revs. Quite pleased with myself. Saw Eamon from next door when I got back from my ride. They all had covid over Christmas. Harry goes back to school tomorrow, I took him for a covid test at the school this morning. Government now plan to stick with plan b and ride this double pandemic of Delta and Omecron out. Also Mum seems to be on the mend and looks like she probably had a short bug.
