Notes:-Canal walk to bridge just past the marina with Simba. Walking with Simba is a bit slower as he has to stop every 5 seconds to sniff or try to eat something. Bank holiday Monday much of which I spent in the garden. Planted a load of lettuce, spring onions and herbs. Will see how these grow in the veg trugs. Last year was a disaster so hopefully the salad will be more fruitful…. So to speak. Also spent some time with Sarah in trying to see what seating would go best in the summer house. The sofa we have is a bit cheap and uncomfortable. Also attempted to track down the drain smell in the upstairs bathroom. Tracked it down to the stack running down from the loft. Made notes on where each toilet, sink etc connects for future ref. The redundant sewer pipe cap seems to have worked so will cement it up fully when I get a chance. Also spoke to mum on my way back. Seems ok, bit repetitive and worried that Fran is more detached now she has moved out. Time estimated as I did not track this walk.
