Notes:-Afternoon ride some flies... also hit the school run traffic, lethal door opening without looking type people....Also quite warm today. Feeling quite meh again about work. Really struggled to concentrate yesterday as Im back in a bit of a limbo again. Spoke to Tony on Friday, it was good to see him again. Felt bad he has to pick this up, updated him in the work to date, all feels very trivial. He didnt want to discuss it for too long but said he needed to speak to Piers, Mike and Nic. I think he will offer to put me forward to carry on the WS2 lead role or cover the pipeline lead role. Stressed I dont think we need both. Speaking again on Friday. Ive also got a call with Piers, Nic and Mike on Friday morning. I really dont want another short term extension… but suspect that’s what I will get. Yesterday was mildly traumatic with a trip to the dental hygienist first time in 3 years so lots of drilling and scraping. Lee brought the van back and finally the oil leak is fixed plus driving Harry to the DAC it was running beautifully. However disaster on the way home when it lost power down the slip road and onto the A5. Managed to get it mostly off the road. Thought it was a broken throttle cable. Jenco stopped to see if he could help and took Harry home. I waited for the recovery truck which didnt take long. Ride of shame pic below… On examination today in the daylight it actually looks like a problem with the choke stepped cam. Lee back tomorrow to look at it. To think I was planning to take it to Mums at the weekend.
